Guardian Childcare & Education Macquarie Park

(Formerly Acre Woods)

Guardian Childcare & Education Macquarie Park NQS Rated Exceeding by ACECQA

Our centre has been recognised as ‘Exceeding’ the National Quality Standard. This is the highest rating you can receive from a regulatory authority assessment and we are proud to deliver an exceptional service to the children and families who attend our centre.

Guardian Macquarie Park is rated as exceeding in the National Quality Standard. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including a thriving vegetable patch, wooden pallet climbing frames, natural structures and a range of age-specific play areas, children are encouraged to explore and learn.

The light-filled centre also features an art studio, lighting experiences and backs onto a quiet, leafy reserve which the children love. Children at Guardian Macquarie Park enjoy exploring our community on regular excursions to the hospital, the local shops and the offices within our building to collect recyclables for our sustainability learning experiences.

Teachers and Educators at Guardian Macquarie Park also provide wonderful learning programs for the children, including a leading Preschool Program for those preparing for the transition to primary school.

We are proud to have a culturally diverse team, with one of our Educators speaking fifteen languages fluently! This is an incredible opportunity for the children to extend their knowledge of language and the world around them, as we also embrace and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year.

Kids Gourmet Food, an esteemed catering company, delivers fresh meals to the Centre daily, while our dedicated team of Educators organise breakfast and late snacks for the children.

Begin the adventure at Guardian Macquarie Park today by booking a tour to explore the Centre or speak to one of our friendly team.

More about Guardian Macquarie Park

Our childcare and early learning programs at Macquarie Park offer so many benefits for families, including:

  • Preschool Program: We help prepare your child for Primary School with our leading curriculum delivered by Teachers with specialist early childhood university degrees.
  • Partnership with Families: Your peace of mind is important to us, so we work with you and your child every step of the way.
  • Community connections. Regular excursions to explore the local area, as well as a ‘home-away-from-home’ approach to care.
  • Wellbeing and nutrition. Nutritionally balanced, seasonal meals and snacks prepared by a dedicated on-site chef, as well as regular cooking classes for the children.
  • Provide real-world inspired environments. Our Centres inspire curiosity, foster creativity and support discovery with a variety of sensory-rich and sustainable spaces designed for early learning that encourage your child to think, question and do amazing things. All of the classrooms overlook the outdoor learning environment which is surrounded by trees, producing plenty of natural shade and it encourages curiosity and exploration.

Our close partnership with families allows us to offer a range of additional benefits to the learning and childcare experience for the children in our Centres. We pride ourselves on the support we offer families and want to help make it a little easier to balance all those daily commitments, through initiatives such as:

  • Designated drop off and pick up zones to assist with those busy mornings and afternoons.
  • Casual care days where possible to help you manage the unpredictable nature of work life and home life.
  • Assisting you with government subsidies and entitlements to help you make the most of the financial support which may be available
  • Our family communication app StoryPark to keep you informed throughout the day with photos, videos and updates about your child
  • We hold parent and educator sessions to keep you informed of your child’s individual progress.
  • Providing your child with unexpected benefits such as exposure to a range of cultures and languages via our diverse and multi-cultural educator mix.

Each Guardian childcare and early learning Centre is as unique as the children within it. However, creating community connections is something we’re incredibly passionate about at Macquarie Park. For example:

  • Excursions. Venturing out into the local area allows children to explore the world around them.
  • Visiting local amenities. The local library, primary school and art gallery provide opportunities for children to form their identities and feel a part of a community.
  • Hosting fundraising events. These provide rich and varied learning experiences that develop community-minded citizens.
  • Language lessons and cultural celebrations. Our Educators bring different skills, experiences and cultures to their roles, providing unique learning opportunities for the children in their care.

If you’re thinking of enrolling at Guardian Macquarie Park, we’d encourage you to book a tour today. During your tour you will have the opportunity to meet our Centre Manager, Educators and have a really good look around the Centre while the team answer any questions you may have.  We even have a list of questions you can ask us to make sure Guardian Macquarie Park is the right fit for you and your family.
