Guardian Childcare & Education Rouse Hill OOSH NQS Rated Exceeding by ACECQA

Our centre has been recognised as ‘Exceeding’ the National Quality Standard. This is the highest rating you can receive from a regulatory authority assessment and we are proud to deliver an exceptional service to the children and families who attend our centre.

Guardian Childcare & Education Rouse Hill OOSH (formerly Kids Club) is rated ‘exceeding’ in the National Quality Standard and offers before and after school care and vacation care. The Centre supports families with their before and after school care needs, as well as assisting families to manage the challenges of school holidays through their leading vacation care programs.

The Centre is located on the grounds of Rouse Hill Public School, so children have access to the school playgrounds and resources, as well as resource-rich environments that include herb gardens, a basketball court, an oval and a range of activity-based areas where children are encouraged to explore and learn.

During our vacation care program children also have the opportunity to get out and about on various excursions throughout the surrounding community.

Our experienced team prepare breakfast and afternoon tea daily and organise five fresh meals for the children during vacation care periods. To further explore nutrition at the Centre, our Educators also host cooking classes as part of the range of activities available.

Learn More About Our Centre

Guardian Childcare & Education Rouse Hill OOSH is located on the grounds of Rouse Hill Public School and has been providing caring, friendly and supportive before and after and vacation care for over 10 years. Our centre is dedicated to providing the children with a safe and secure “home away from home” and is naturally bright with many different spaces for the children to interact with in small or large groups as well as quiet individual opportunities.

Our professional staff take time to get to know each child individually and create a happy, warm and safe atmosphere for the children. We offer a wide range of experiences for the children to enjoy each day from quiet book corners to creative experiences, dancing and team sports. Children are encouraged to contribute to the program and they have the freedom use the spacious school grounds, play team-based games or simply spending time with their friends. Providing a variety of opportunities for children to develop their skills and interests forms the basis of our programs.

We place a strong emphasis on involving children with their local community through visitors to the centre, local excursions and our current project, helping to care for our garden. A nutritious breakfast and afternoon tea is provided during the school term.

Our Educators

Our team of Educators are committed and passionate about ensuring your child will be safe, nurtured and cared for every day. At Guardian, children are encouraged to engage in interest-led play that creates learning and meaningful experiences.

Our Educators seek to optimise diverse learning opportunities and implement the Curriculum as framed by the My Time Our Place (MTOP) outcomes. The basis of MTOP is leisure and building on children’s interests so they become capable young people.
