Our centre has been recognised as ‘Exceeding’ the National Quality Standard. This is the highest rating you can receive from a regulatory authority assessment and we are proud to deliver an exceptional service to the children and families who attend our centre.

Guardian Childcare & Education Rouse Hill South is a spacious and light-filled Centre with an incredible indoor/outdoor layout. The Centre boasts a beautiful art space and library, as well as a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including vibrant gardens, a water play area, a creek bed and a rock wall where the exciting programs and practices come to life.

The first five years of your child’s life are incredibly important when it comes to social and emotional development, and setting them up with a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. That’s why, at Guardian Rouse Hill South, we’re focused on teaching children how to learn versus just ticking a box. This approach to education comes to life in our Preschool Program, which is led by qualified teachers who are there to help prepare your child for the exciting transition to school.

At Guardian Rouse Hill South we are proud to have a diverse team of Educators and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays throughout the year. As well as an excursion program where we take the children out and about into the local community to teach about the world around them.

Our on-site cook, Nat, prepares five nutritionally balanced meals using seasonal ingredients every day. With a Certificate III in Childcare and over 10 years’ experience in the industry, Nat loves inviting the children into the kitchen for fun and educational cooking classes. The children then enjoy their meals in the dedicated piazza while socialising with their friends and Educators.

More about Guardian Rouse Hill South

Our childcare and early learning programs at Rouse Hill South offer so many benefits for families, including:

  • Preschool Program: We help prepare your child for Primary School with our leading curriculum delivered by Teachers with specialist early childhood university degrees.
  • Partnership with Families: Your peace of mind is important to us, so we work with you and your child every step of the way.
  • Community connections. Regular excursions to explore the local area, as well as a ‘home-away-from-home’ approach to care.
  • Wellbeing and nutrition. Nutritionally balanced, seasonal meals and snacks prepared by a dedicated on-site chef, as well as regular cooking classes for the children.
  • Provide real-world inspired environments. Our Centres inspire curiosity, foster creativity and support discovery with a variety of sensory-rich and sustainable spaces designed for early learning that encourage your child to think, question and do amazing things. All of the classrooms overlook the outdoor learning environment which is surrounded by trees, producing plenty of natural shade and it encourages curiosity and exploration.

Our close partnership with families allows us to offer a range of additional benefits to the learning and childcare experience for the children in our Rouse Hill South childcare centre. We pride ourselves on the support we offer families and want to help make it a little easier to balance all those daily commitments, through initiatives such as:

  • Designated drop off and pick up zones to assist with those busy mornings and afternoons.
  • Casual care days where possible to help you manage the unpredictable nature of work life and home life.
  • Assisting you with government subsidies and entitlements to help you make the most of the financial support which may be available
  • Our family communication app StoryPark to keep you informed throughout the day with photos, videos and updates about your child
  • We hold parent and educator sessions to keep you informed of your child’s individual progress.
  • Providing your child with unexpected benefits such as exposure to a range of cultures and languages via our diverse and multi-cultural educator mix.

Each Guardian childcare and early learning Centre is as unique as the children within it. However, creating community connections is something we’re incredibly passionate about at Rouse Hill South. For example:

  • Excursions. Venturing out into the local area allows children to explore the world around them.
  • Visiting local amenities. The local library, primary school and art gallery provide opportunities for children to form their identities and feel a part of a community.
  • Hosting fundraising events. These provide rich and varied learning experiences that develop community-minded citizens.
  • Language lessons and cultural celebrations. Our Educators bring different skills, experiences and cultures to their roles, providing unique learning opportunities for the children in their care.
