Read More did not know any English and now she is a fluent speaker. I have alot to credit to all the team at Guardian as my daughter has flourished into a confident girl who enjoys her time there. She has learnt to interact with peers & educators, to follow instructions well, basic language & literacy skills, and also be ready for school next year. I am so so happy with the kindness and support from the whole team we have recieved over the years. Food is prepared by chef Megan and to a high standard - from what I have observed, I could see the effort going into prepare children's meals to be healthy and nutritious. Annette (centre manager) is always trying to meet with our needs with an open heart and has been the best person to talk to. I would recommend this childcare to my friends and to anyone who is looking for a good daycare they can trust to send their children to. Thank you to all the team at Guardian!!

I have had two young boys go through Playdays/Guardian from the time I returned to work and they both started in the babies room. Sadly we will shortly end our 7 ... Read More year tenure with them as our youngest will attend school. The team at Playdays are exceptional. Our youngest has a speech disorder that was alerted to us by the centre and has resulted in years of intense therapy since discovered. The team have supported our family, not only in the classroom, but also working with all the external support environments to support the best outcome for him. This has been countless hours of unpaid work and it's always been done willingly. We are forever grateful for this. Annette (director) and the teams passion for the children shows every day and the kids always love going there - for the food, the music, the laughs. There is an undeniable sense of family in the centre. If you are lucky enough to come across Hayley, you will meet the most talented, genuine girl who is truly a shining light. The kids constantly follow her around and patience and kindness are just part of her nature, she really gets the kids. My son will be devastated to leave her this year. When I saw this centre it was my first choice. I have never regretted that choice and I doubt you could find another centre that will truly make your child's day the kind they never want to forget. The staff are friendly, keep you posted on what happens during the day and the main thing is consistency! No change in staff so my son builds a great relationship with them. The centre provides a nurturing environment for kids of all ages, with both great indoor and outdoor areas for the children to explore. They also provide healthy meals which my kids would never eat at home but would actually eat when they were there. The standard response when we would try cooking at home some of the meals we would see on the Playdays menu was "that's not how Chef Megan does it" :) The educators are amazing. Most of them have been around since before my kids started. It also has an excellent Prescool program. My son's Kindy teacher would always mention how well prepared for school all the Playdays kids were. My family was part of the Playdays family for 6 years and we could not have been happier with our experience there.

Both of my daughters have attended Guardian Wahroonga (formerly PlayDays), with my youngest still attending this wonderful centre. Read More educators in the Nursery, to the wonderfully patient Playdays teachers in the Toddler room (who handle the trials of toddler meltdowns and toilet training with grace and a smile!), to the fabulously enthusiastic team in the Pre-school room. The Playdays educators are so amazing with children of all ages. The feedback from the Kindergarten teachers at our Primary school was glowing of how well the Playdays kids were prepared for school readiness. One teacher said, "Every time I bring out a book to read to the class, the Playdays kids all put their hand up and say "we have already read this book at Playdays!'". I would highly recommend Playdays (Guardian) to anyone looking for Long Day Care in the area.
