Where do I start with expressing how happy we are with Guardian - Flinders St Childcare Centre?! Everyone kept telling me “you’ll know when you have found the right place, you’ll ... Read More get a gut feeling”. I didn’t think it was going to happen. I questioned whether it was even going to happen for us - until we toured Flinders St. While I appreciate the centre may not be for those seeking lots of outdoor space, we LOVE the space that has been created and everything it offers our now 17 month old. We love that the outdoors has been brought inside. We love that Guardian focuses on excursions and the importance of creating community minded children by actually getting out and about into the local community. I had never heard of Guardian Childcare before we started looking and our experience has been nothing short of wonderful. Our daughter started at a different Guardian Childcare Centre (while we waited for a spot at Flinders St) and while she enjoyed her time there, and the centre was lovely, she has blossomed at Flinders St. Talia and her team make it so easy and stress free to leave our beloved in their care. The educators seem genuinely happy and engaged with the children and are warm and enthusiastic. I have often witnessed how wonderful they all are with the kids. Our daughter has created strong bonds with all the educators, also in part because of their model of care (yet another element of the centre that I love). Our daughter is excited to go to childcare and is gleeful as we walk towards the front door. What more could a parent ask for when it comes to childcare? And yet Flinders St keeps on impressing us and easing our anxieties about having our daughter in anyone’s care but our own. We also love that the centre is only approved for a smaller number of children compared to many other childcare centres we toured. We LOVE that photos are taken of the kids playing and learning, and it’s really special to receive those updates while at work. We are so impressed and appreciative of the digital capabilities of the educators (live streaming from NASA’s website, or the Adelaide Zoo?! Yes please!) It’s safe to say we are thrilled with our choice to send our daughter to Flinders St.

Read More girls have worked hard to gain his trust and help him get past his previous trauma. My son enjoys going to day care again and loves all the carers at the centre. Thalia is one of the most involved directors I have ever met. She has worked with me to help find solutions to over come my son's previous trauma. Everytime I see her she is in with the kids and the kids run to her for big hugs. I couldn't sing the praise of the centre enough.

My 2 year old son Joseph attends Guardian 3 times week and with 4 children ranging from 15 to 2 I have visited many a childcare centres and the best ... Read More to date would have to be Guardian Flinders street! the centre manager Tahlia and her right hand person Bridgette do such a great job keeping the place running well and making sure the kids and parents are happy, it could not be done of course without their amazing educators who do so well educating caring and loving the children! Joseph adores them all but his stand outs have to be Courtney and Peter who tho have different personalities just work perfectly for Joe and he never leaves without giving them the biggest hugs ever! For me the educators and manager are more to me than just my child’s carer they r family! When I was effected by the recent bush fires in the Adelaide hills they could not have bent over backwards enough making sure I had all the essentials I needed to to take care of Joe while we were homeless with clothes nappies wipes etc, telling me to take what ever I needed! I am so thankful to have them in my life and especially Joseph’s! I could never be without each and everyone of them, the best thing guardian did was open a centre in the city and hire these amazing people!

The staff are all amazing with the kids. The facilities are bright and clean. My child loves going.
